Sirdar Loveful Bio Blend DK includes CiCLO® technology, which was created to reduce the environmental impact of microplastic pollution from synthetic textiles.

It is a nature-based solution which enables synthetic textiles to behave more like natural fibres, reducing the time microplastic fibre pollution lasts in the environment.

CiCLO® technology does not affect performance or durability, ensuring products are made to last, not here forever.

Handknits made with Loveful Bio Blend are no different to other knits until the end of their useful life when they are discarded.

Then the CiCLO® additive attracts microbes to digest the treated fibres, ultimately converting them into water, carbon dioxide and organic matter.

Not only does Loveful Bio Blend use post-consumer recycled polyester, it takes that material completely out of the microplastic pollution cycle.
